Dayton wants to keep up with the increasing health care costs that the poor, disabled and elderly depend on and is trying to raise the $1.3B by increasing taxes on the wealthiest Minnesotans. The GOP led legislature says, "No way".
In 5 1/2 hours, the Minnesota government will shut down.
